  • Then the kingdom of heaven will be

  • Like ten virgins who,

  • Having taken their lamps,

  • Went to meet the bridegroom.

  • Five of them were crazy,

  • And five wise men.

  • The crazy women, taking their lamps,

  • They took no oil with them;

  • But the wise men took, with their lamps,

  • oil in vases.

  • As the bridegroom delayed,

  • They all dozed off and fell asleep.

  • In the middle of the night,

  • They cried: Here is the bridegroom,

  • Go meet him!
